The human brain evolves into greater levels of complexity and greater capacity to comprehend Reality through paradigm shifts.

A very clear paradigm shift in human history is the one that took place between our concept of nature before the Copernican/Galilean era – when we saw the sun coming up in the East and going down in the West and assumed that the earth was the center of the universe – and our concept of nature today when our brain has been re-configured to unquestionably accept the fact that it is the earth that rotates around the sun. But our current concept of nature, in addition to unsustainable economic demands and irrational religious ideologies, is still dominated by ancient and destructive fallacies (Bacon’s man’s mastery over nature, Descartes’ mind severance from the body, Newton’s mechanical and meaningless Universe, Darwin’s Evolution twisted into ‘might makes right’), and it is destroying us.

If we are to survive into the future, if we are to leave a decent world to our descendants, a shift in the way we understand our world is desperately needed. We need a concept of Reality based on the irrefutable fact that, although incredibly complex and conscious of our own self-awareness, we grow out of the environment into natural systems made out of atoms, just like the myriad natural systems with which we share our world.

You can definitely see your enthusiasm in the work you write. The arena hopes for more passionate writers like you who aren’t afraid to mention how they believe. At all times follow your heart. “Golf and sex are about the only things you can enjoy without being good at.” by Jimmy Demaret.
